Army Spec. 4 Anthony Wayne Kidd who died March 1, 1991 after stepping on a land mine
somewhere in the Middle East was laid to rest in Rockport Cemetery. Sp4 Kidd was the last
to die from Allen County and died 40 hours after the Gulf War's announced cease-fire.

To be listed as Allen County Casualties one must have been inducted or enlisted in
Allen County. Allen County residents who enlisted at a location outside of Allen County
will not be listed by the government as an official Allen County casualty. They will
appear as a casualty in the county in which they enlisted.
