Pictorial History Book Published to Celebrate Delphos’s Sesquicentennial

A photographic history of Delphos and surrounding communities, a joint effort of more than a half-dozen local researchers, has been published.

Reflections: A pictorial History of Delphos, Landeck, Ottoville and Fort Jennings, Ohio, presented in conjunction with the 150th anniversary of the founding of Delphos in 2001, features more than 275 rare and historic photographs, some never before published. This historical volume chronicles the history of these four associated communities from their earliest settlement to the 1960’s with a comprehensive history including historical facts and anecdotes.

Authors are Bob Ebbeskotte, Bob Holdgreve, Marilyn Wagner and Helen Kaverman of Delphos; Rita Turnwald of Ottoville; and Elmer Von Lehmden and Larry Schimmoeller of Fort Jennings.

Published by The Donning Company Publishers of Virginia Beach, Virginia, the largest specialty pictorial history book publisher in the United States. Reflections is the newest book in Donning’s "Portrait of America" series.
